From Energy to Plant Phenotyping: EOSC-hub Early Adopter Programme Use Cases Unveiled

EOSC-hub has just unveiled its first batch of successful applicants of its EOSC-hub Early Adopter Programme and have been included as use cases of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

EOSC-hub's first batch of early adopters include STARS4ALLEMSO ERIC Data Management PlatformMapping the sensitivity of mitigation scenarios to societal choicesTowards an e-infrastructure for plant phenotyping, and Big Data Analytics for agricultural monitoring using Copernicus Sentinels and EU open data sets.

These use cases not only provide a glimpse of the many possibilities provided by using multiple EOSC services but also help those building the EOSC understand the needs of researchers and how EOSC should be structured for use in the future. 

For the users' side, the EOSC-hub Early Adopter Programme allows research communities to scale up their in-house infrastructure and to have access to a richer set of resources.

EOSC-hub provides expertise and resources to enable active usage of the EOSC and its marketplace and aims to foster a culture of co-operation between researchers and EOSC providers.
